Hey, how’s it going? I haven’t wrote a post
like this in ages. I honestly think the last time I did was in 2016. I got home
from the gym and was throwing on some quick eye makeup and thought I would
share what my current, affordable look looks like.
I didn’t take a picture, but I do use this eyeshadow brush for my crease and
tear duct.
Maybelline
Eye Studio Colour Tattoo Cream Eyeshadow in Inked in Pink: I had ordered this product back in January but
honestly didn’t really find a use for it. However, as spring as sprung, I love
using this pretty pink on my eyelid. It’s subtle enough to be an everyday
shadow and totally work friendly, too.
Urban
Decay Naked2 Basics Eyeshadow Palette: I know people sometimes get really upset when Urban Decay products or
other Sephora brands get included in “affordable” posts. However, this product
is only $36 and it’s honestly one of the best
palettes I have ever used in my life, I would rate it 5/5 stars. Plus, they’re
all matte colours which is sweet! As you can probably tell from the picture, I
definitely use Frisk the most – I love it for a simple lid colour. Recently, I’ve
been blending Primal into my crease, Skimp into my tearduct then the Maybelline
colour onto my lid. It makes for a really pretty look!
L’Oreal Paris
Voluminous White Primer:
Using this product is very new to me.
Maybe 5 days or so. However, I apply it before my mascara and I find it just
makes the application so much easier and a base on build volume on with my
mascara.
L’Oreal Paris
Voluminous Original Waterproof Mascara: I usually hate mascara. I find it clumps and looks terrible. This
product has become a serious game changer to me, though. One thing I love about this mascara is it’s
extremely easy to build on – one coat is great for a simple, errands running or
work look but you can also add multiple coats to add extra volume.
I’m not an eyeliner person, I find it looks
terrible on me. That’s why there’s no eyeliner.
I don’t really use
drugstore eye primer. I do like this
primer, I have been using it forever.
I really enjoy this eyebrow palette and it’s a really good
price point for people on a budget.
omg i loved this blog post!
