Happy Monday! Although my birthday isn’t
until tomorrow, I celebrated with some friends on the weekend. I’ve been
obsessed with naked cakes for ages
and my friend got me one for my birthday!! I was so excited!
(side note: I walked into a clothing rack the other day, hence the bruise on my arm lol)

My Current Beauty Favourites
Happy Friday! I looked back and I haven’t wrote a current
beauty favourites post in months,
maybe even years. I thought today I would share some products that I’ve fallen
in love with.

Turning 25 & More: An Interview by Sarah Whetham
A throwback photo to 2016! |
I honestly was sitting at my computer screen with a blank stare trying to decide what to post for today’s post. I was texting one of my girlfriends about something else but mentioned this to her and we came up with a brilliant idea. She could interview me with random questions plus questions relating to me turning 25 in less than a week. Throughout the post, I plan to share some photos of me in my early twenties plus my fur babies, too!

Random Ramblings About Life
Hi, hello.
I started writing a
legitimate post for today but if I’m being completely honest, I just didn’t
feel like writing a fashion post.

Hey, what’s up? I’m currently
writing this from my mom’s deck. It’s so
beautiful up here and the perfect weather.

Things I'm Loving: Etsy
I could spend hours upon hours looking
at all the gorgeous items at Etsy. Is it just me? Yes? Oh, okay. I love how
unique the items are plus you can find virtually anything you want. From home décor
items to graphic t’s to beauty products, there’s 21 things that are
going to end up on this list.
How cute is this flag? My mom always had
a flag hanging up on the porch. I never liked them growing up, I always thought
some of them were kind of cheesy (sorry, mom!). However, as I’m getting older,
they’re starting to really grow on me.
I know, another flag. This one is just
so darn cute, too! One thing that I love about this flag is that it can be used
year-round, instead of seasonal.
A year ago, had you told me that I would
add a sign that How Great Thou Art lyrics, I likely would have rolled my eyes.
Probably laughed a bit. However, I fell in love with Joey + Rory’s gospel album
and could listen to their version of How
Great Thou Art a million times in a row. Plus, it was my grandma’s
favourite hymn (and one of the only ones I could sign without a book in front
of me) so this piece really stands out to me.
Long story, short – I love Fixer Upper and
I kick myself in the butt for not getting into the show earlier than I did.
This sign reminds me of something Joanna Gaines would put into a kitchen, no?
Either way, I feel like it would be super cute above a kitchen table!
I love
this serving tray. It’s so cute, the colour is gorgeous and it’s great for
entertaining. I can see it now – carrying a pot of coffee with mugs and
cream/milk/sugar when company is over.
As someone who is all for breakfast in bed,
this is something that I love! Maybe one day I’ll have a man to deliver me
pancakes on this tray ;)
I love this doormat, it’s so cute! Plus
this doormat was locally made, which is something that I love.
Like I said above, I am addicted to Fixer
Upper. I think I have about 30 episodes saved on my PVR to watch whenever.
While I’m not usually a graphic tee person, I would totally see myself rocking
this shirt with a pair of jeans and sandals this summer. Then with a flannel
shirt and leggings come fall.
Ah, I’ve loved these shirts for years.
Again, although I’m not a graphic tee gal, I could totally foresee myself
wearing this! One thing that I love
is that it’s just the women of Gilmore Girls which makes it different and fun.
This is the perfect beach bag! I love how cute
it is and it’s a good size to carry your books, sunscreen and snacks. Plus, it’s
monogrammed so it’s easier to keep track of.
I sit here writing this with both of my
kitties curled up on my lap so I feel as though this mug is super relevant. It’s
so cute, too! Plus made by a Canadian shop.
If Giphy showed your most commonly used
GIFs, I’m 99.9% sure that my most common used GIF is Joey Tribbiani doing his
trademark line. With that being said, I personally find this mug to be perfect because I love Friends and it’s
my go-to GIF.
How fun is this colouring book? With
pictures like the Holiday Armadillo, Unagi, Pivot and the Central Perk logo,
this is such a great little purchase.
Very similar to the Friends colouring book
but with pictures from The Office! It has Prison Mike, ‘I declare bankruptcy!’
and more.
If you read my post on Wednesday, I shared
that I’ve been struggling with intense migraines lately. I’ve received multiple
suggestions to try essential oils to help. I love the idea of this essential
oil based salve because then it’s easy to just moisturize in onto my temples.
This company also sells a rollerball
of this, plus a gift set with both!
Allergy season is the worst! I’m always
looking for something that would help my symptoms naturally – I hate the way
Claritin and Reactin make me feel. I definitely would love to try this
rollerball to see if it gives any relief.
Okay, I promise… last product from Red Barn
Botanicals. However, I read an article a few months ago about the products in
Vick’s and I was horrified! I definitely would be interested in trying a more
natural chest rub and this seems as though it would do the trick. There’s also
a children’s version!
I have a mild obsession with candles. My
current favourite is the mint essential oil one from Bath & Body Works. I
feel like this candle would smell amazing!
I have become a big fan of bar soap over
the past year or so. I just feel cleaner than when I use shower gel. How
amazing does this merlot soap sound?
I love
the smell of earl grey. I just find it so fresh and clean! This soap sounds
amazing.
I have loved The Wilderness Co.’s products
for a bit now! I love cocoa butters but sometimes find them filled with so many
chemicals! I love this body butter because it’s all-natural products.

What I'm Loving: Summer Dresses
I had a “What I’m Loving: Etsy Edition”
post started. I’ve been looking for dozens of gorgeous items that I love.
However, I ended up in the emergency
room for the second time in the past two weeks because I’ve had this darn
headache that I just can’t kick. It’s behind my right ear and is an odd
feeling. I have weakness in my right arm and leg, tingling in the fingers of my
right hand, loss of earing in my right ear and dizziness. I’ve had dozens of
blood tests, x-rays and a CT scan. I have an MRI scheduled for next week but
just can’t kick it.
Therefore, I thought I would share some
dresses I’m loving right now!

June (+ my birthday!) Wishlist!
It finally feels like summertime is here and I am so excited for all the adorable stuff
out these days!
As per usual, I’m sharing my wish list for the month of
June. I typically share this every month and share all the adorable things
online. With my birthday being in the month of June, I’m also kind of hoping
this is a hint for my mom of items I’m loving. (sorry mom!)
You can also check my “currently crushing on…” in the
right bar, which I try to update 2-3 times per month as well as my “Dream
Closet – Summer 2018” board on Pinterest.
I typically share just clothes & accessories in this
post but decided today to share some beauty products too. Let me know if you think
beauty products should get their own post in the comments!
Clothes & Accessories
I think one of my greatest loves is Anthropologie,
however, it’s so darn expensive!
However, these Levi’s shorts are
relatively affordable and high waisted!
This is the prettiest
dress for summer!
As a Canadian, I think it’s in my roots to love Roots! I
absolutely adore their salt and pepper
track pants, they’re my go-to lounge pants (I’m wearing them as I write
this, actually). From time to time though, I remember that they sell more than
lounge wear. This kimono and this blouse are both items I’m absolutely
obsessing over!
Also love this dress
from Roots!
After the tons of raves I’ve seen by bloggers, I think it’s
time to add a whisper tee to my
closet! I love the navy and grey.
I feel like this button-front
cami is the cutest thing I’ve seen in a while! It would look so good with a
pair of denim shorts.
I have definitely shared this before but my heart is with
this Wayf maxi dress.
Also love this maxi
dress, it’s so perfect for beach days.
I know I’ve shared a good number of jumpsuits over the
past few months but this one from Old Navy
has caught my eye for ages! I meant
to try it on for my last Old Navy try-on but I had so many items in my hand as
it was.
Love this jumpsuit
too, which is also from Old Navy! It would be perfect for warm days.
Third jumpsuit I’m obsessed with? This halter one from Gap.
Fourth and final jumpsuit: this Tencel one from Gap.
Love this one
shoulder romper!
How comfortable do these Aerie shorts look?
Loving the Yara
Birkenstocks for an everyday sandal!
I love these Sperry
sneakers for days that you aren’t feeling sandals in the summer.
Love these Vince
Camuto espadrille sneakers, too.
I love Old Navy’s
crossbody bags. I have for years, they’re the perfect little bag.
Beauty Products
I’m not a nail polish connoisseur by any means but I love
Essie gel polishes. I love the colours First
View, Stitch by Stitch, Inside Scoop and Take Me to Thread.
I love Bioderma products and want to try the shower gel so badly!
These face wipes
have been on my list since the day I saw them released. I love Purity Made Simple face wash so I feel like
these would be a great product to try.
I have Origins face masks for different purposes. I
definitely love this mix and match set.
I’ve shared them so many times but Sephora collection’s #Lipstories lipsticks
are so gorgeous! I’m so in love with Popsicle Lips, Pineapple Express, Spring
Break and Two Lips.
I love NARS blushes, Orgasm has been my go-to for years. I can’t wait to try the NARS luminizer.
What’s on your wish list for summer? Let me know in the
comments below!
